Liquid Line traces flight paths at Frankfurt Airport

There is hardly anything more majestic than a large aircraft hovering towards the ground. With a unique light installation, Frankfurt Airport is trying to bring this elegance to life on a smaller scale on the ground as well. Over 325 meters and two stories, the central element of the exhibition winds its way through the new visitor centre and precisely traces the flight paths and holding patterns on which the large jets take off and land. As a take-off and landing point, the light ribbon incorporates a 14-meter-long and 8-meter-wide model of the airport.
